A WINGS’ Mentee Is…
WINGS is looking for committed and passionate women who know how important it is to learn from mentors during their career journey. They are committed to their own development and show the dedication throughout the program.

- Motivated to become a leader. They have a sense of what it means to lead and can articulate why this is a personal aspiration
- Able to articulate a sense of what they want to accomplish in her life and career and is committed to living a life of purpose
- Has a strong desire to learn from a mentoring relationship
- Possesses a positive attitude and strong drive to achieve her career goals
- Able to listen and act on what she learns in meaningful ways
- Open to feedback and understands the role it plays in personal development
- Resourceful and results-oriented. Maintains sight of her goals even when challenges arise.
- Fully committed to the program despite busy work schedules
Mentee Enrollment Process

Mentees must satisfy the WINGS for Growth criteria & complete an online application
Submit references & resume once contacted by WINGS team
Our team will review the Mentee’s responses to the questionnaire
Member(s) of senior leadership will interview selected candidates
Complete a “Present yourself to your mentor” write-up and submit to WINGS team
Accepted mentees will have an opportunity to meet with potential mentors
Attend mandatory program kick-off
MENTEE ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Mentees must satisfy the WINGS for Growth criteria & complete an online application

Submit references & resume once contacted by WINGS team

Our team will review the Mentee’s responses to the questionnaire

Member(s) of senior leadership will interview selected candidates

Complete a “Present yourself to your mentor” write-up and submit to WINGS team

Accepted mentees will have an opportunity to meet with potential mentors

Attend mandatory program kick-off
- Create and update development plan every two weeks
- Attend 5 workshops, one every other month

Complete all activities such as:
- Bi-weekly meeting with Mentor
- Bi-monthly meeting with Mentor, Master Mentor, Champion
- Book club
- Self-assessments
- Capstone Project with a non-profit organization
- Final presentation
- (Optional for bonus points) Mentor someone – min 2 months
- Min 140 hours of total commitment – 5 hours average per week

Mentees take advantage of assessment tools to take an inventory of their traits and skills. This feeds into their personalized leadership development plan
IMPACTFUL NETWORKING
Opportunity to participate and network with senior leaders during connectivity events
